Data are reported as means ± SD for each group (n = 5), where 0 represent complete paralysis and 21 showed normal gaits. **P ≤ 0.005 for KA injured group and control group at 3, 7 & 14 days post injury and *P ≤ 0.05 for the injured group compared to the control group at 21, & 28 day post injury.
