Maximum likelihood tree based on almost-complete 16S rRNA gene sequences showing the phylogenetic placement of strain SLM16 within the family Rhodobacteraceae build using MEGA7 software. Rhodospirillum rubrum was used as outgroup to root the tree. Genetic distances were estimated from Hasegawa-Kishino-Yano model. Percentages of bootstrap replicates (1000) supporting the topology of the tree are given above each branch. Genbank accession numbers are given in parenthesis
