Effects of different treatments on VEGF and KSP protein expression in Hep3B cells. (A) The protein expressions of VEGF and KSP were examined by Western blot analyses. β-actin was used as a housekeeping gene control. The size of each protein was indicated. (B, C) The siRNAs transfected cells exhibited a decreased expression of VEGF protein (B) and KSP protein (C) as confirmed by densitometric analysis. (D) The cell culture supernatants were collected at 72 hours after transfection and the secreted VEGF concentrations were measured by the quantitative VEGF ELISA kit.
