(A, A’) Poly-(ADP-Ribose) polymerase (PARP) and (B, B’) FAS levels in Pale (P, stage IX-XII), Weak (W, stage XIII-I), Strong (S, stage II-V) and Dark (D, VI-VII) segments. There was a tendency of cleaved PARP to increase in Dark segments. FAS levels increased in Weak, Strong and Dark segments as compared with Pale (*, p < 0.0001, **p < 0.01, ***p < 0.05, n = 3). β-actin was used as a loading control.
