Xenograft tumors display high similarities with the original primary tumor. Xenografts showed histological features of adenocarcinoma, with tumor infiltration of muscle tissue. Expression of all markers was observed in the tumor cells of xenografts, except for HER2, which was present with different intensity only in cells derived from peritoneal metastasis.
