Enrichment of miRNA in MCs were transferred into IECs via exosomes, and internalized exosomal miRNAs suppressed tight junction-related proteins expression, including ZO-1, Occludin and Claudin, leading to increase intestinal epithelial permeability and destroy intestinal barrier function
