Suppression of miR-221 inhibits cell growth in U87MG and U251 glioma cells. a RT-qPCR was performed to measure miR-221 expression levels in loss of function model. Scr scramble, Inh miR-221 inhibitor. CCK-8 assay was employed to detect the cell proliferation in U87MG cells (b) and U251 cells (c). Glioma cells were treated with 100 pM of miR-221 inhibitors for 48 h and then cells were replaced into a 96-well plate for up to 72 h, and cells were collected for assigned time points for CCK-8 assay *p < 0.05; **p < 0.01.
